Macro

For those of you who are interested the new camera is an Olympus SP-510. This is an example of it's macro mode. Anybody care to hazard a guess what this will be when it grows up?

A flower?

I'm such a horticulturist.

it looks like it might be what we used to call Indian Paintbrushes. What are the differences between the Olympus 510 and Olympus 310LP?

Cindy, I,m afraid I haven't a clue about the differences between the 2 Olympus's (I just know I'm very happy with mine!) Oh, and both you and Nessa have guessed incorrectly, and given Nessa's answer there's a clue there as well.

I'm going to guess that this will become a Scarlett Runner Bean.

Can't wait for your answer. I sure hope I get it right. Just a wild guess, really, but that's all I can come up with at the moment.

Huffs layer of steam from hot breath on fingernails and then polishes on cotton shirt: Yeah. I know. Guess I'm just talented like that. Sometimes it's just downright hard to be humble.

It will be a grown up Olympus SP-510?

Okay, slap me.

I was going to say a Coral Tree but now I know, a Scarlet Runner Bean.
