There seems to be a general slothness in blogland at the moment, and I'm no exception. I guess other things have been taking priority (like the floods). It looks like the flooding has wiped out our potato crop, but the gooseberry bush yielded 2 pounds of goosegogs and has now become 3 jars of jam courtesy of wifey.

And I have herein deslothified this post! Tell me about it, Bazza. I have been so tied up in extra-curricula that I have neglected the "sphere" altogether.
And what the heck are these little guys? Goosegogs? I will pay the 83 dollar shipping for a jar. They look scrump-diddly-isious.
Three jars of gooseberry jam. That sounds great.
I must confess I have never had gooseberry. They look like brussel sprouts here. We've been in the middle of a lot of rain here, too. North and central Texas has been hit really hard.
Unfortunately, Gawpo, one jar has been opened, one jar has been promised to Mother in Law, and the jar that has been opened is so gorgeous, the 3rd jar is staying right here!
They are a very pretty shade of green.
Say no more, Bazza. I understand. I fully understand.
wow! We had figs and cucumbers here..lol.. and jalepenos! Pears!
