Been Away

So, yes, we've been away to the Yorkshire Dales. We stayed in a cottage in a lovely village called Giggleswick (is that a great name or what?) The pictures, in order are, at the top, Malham Tarn, in the middle, meeting some of the locals and finally, at the bottom, Katie and Harry try to work out how long it will take dad to get from the cottage to the pub (yes that really is our cottage)

J.D. welcome to my blog.

Dr John, actually we didn't go in this pub, there was a better one round the corner.

My World, you too are welcome, but I would appreciate it if you could stop taking better pictures than me.

Top Photo: Doesn't that little shack near the river get flooded when the river rises?

Middle Photo: That John on the left. Paul on the right. Peter Best in the far background.

Bottom Photo: That little overhang needs to be resurfaced. The boards are rotting. Is that a lily on the far left that someone is trying to keep alive. Won't work. And that face in the window above and to the right of the doorway---looks like Jim Carey's character in that Batman movie. The Riddler. Or one of the cartoon faces in Warren Beatty's "Dick Tracy." And who is wearing the denim jacket on the far right edge? CSI has struck again!
