After Hawes we went to see the "Buttertubs" (top picture), then on to lunch at the highest pub in Britain the "Tarn Hill" complete with tame lambs ( I checked the menu, they weren't on it!). Finally ending the day at Aysgarth Falls.

That waterfall makes me dizzy - er.
Those lambs are so cute.
Great pictures. The cliff makes me dizzy. Lambs but no leg of lamb on the menu.
What an idyllic holiday. A cheery little wave to you, Bazza x
hello Bazza, what awesome holiday you guys are on. i absolutely love the pics. Buttertubs is breath taking and that is the coziest pub i have ever heard of and of course the falls are just up there in my fav lists..
i also enjoyed myself with your last 2 posts of holidays. you guys live in such a beautiful country, so much to see and explore. i'm happy for you.
good to visit you again. hope the family has been well. see ya soon. hugs.
The lambs are indoors! That is so cool. I want one as a pet.
I'm sitting staring at the screen with a goofy grin on my face. This is so stunning, Buttertubs - where did that name come from? And those lambkins, and the fire. I want to be there!
I am an armchair traveller. This is so much fun!
I feel like I've just gone to Narnia. I love those old words. Like Aysgarth. And those lambs----YUMMERS.
