Lunchtime walk

When you're sat at a desk a lot, it's important to get a bit of exercise, so the other day I went for a walk in my lunch hour. I came across this drain, and walked from one bridge to the next one. The weather was lovely, sunny and warm, and the birds were singing. Life aint so bad.

Ciao, Bazza! Ciao!

We met a very nice young couple from the U.K. I think they said they were from Cornhole or someplace like that. Might actually have had a "wall" in the name. Can't recall. Anyway, I told them about you and they said that 'ull (Hull) has a bit of a reputation for being a rather gray and drab place to live, but that they had never been there, but nonetheless, there was that reputation. Wouldn't know it from what you post, dear friend.

They had funny accents, these two. Come to think of it, so did their 9 year old son. Strange.

p.s. I am in Venice with my sister. You and I are only one hour apart on the clock. And I hear that is about to change in a couple days.

Dang. I double posted that last one. Now you know what happened to the third comment. But while I am here, I might as well tell you that there are no pink bridges in Venice. Nor in all of Italy (including Sicily), far as I can tell.

Good grief. Perhaps Gawpo should refill his prescription...

LOVELY walk, Bazza! Good for you. What great therapy, too.

Is you mail post working again? Perhaps I'll finally send you something!

Gawpo, Cornwall is a beautiful part of the country (they do talk funny though) and they are right about Hull to a certain extent. Hull also has a reputation for being a bit violent, so if you see them again, give them a slap from me. Also, my daughter Katie has a classmate called Kiera Carbonia who comes from Sicily.

Cindra, Hi, the post is back to normal now and your CD was despatched yesterday.

Quilly, you are so correct, thank you.

Looks nice! It really does help to be able to get out and away from one's desk. The beauty of nature is not to be ignored!

Looks like that would have been a nice, relaxing walk. Enjoy your weekend!

Bazza, that could happen. I have their email address and I think it would be fitting to sock them (lightly) just to prove the point.

That surname of your daughter's classmate....do people often say, "Boy, I'd sure like to" right before pronouncing her last name?
