Wifey surveys the wier at Egton on Sunday. The bird list rises to 58 courtesy of the lovely feral Pigeon which I see every day but never thought of putting on the list, but hey it's got wings and a beak so why not!

HEre pigeons sometimes get called Doves. If you used both names, could you count the same bird twice?

Feral Pigeon is included in the annual bird reports. So, there`s nothing wrong with adding it to your list. It`s on mine.

I've decided to mail you many different bird species in an attempt to raise your list over 300. Do they count if they're dead? The post is sometimes slow you know...

hello friend, i was soo happy to read your comment. thank you for the comment.
Francesca is a bird lover and has been since day one i share with you. i have often wondered if bird watching will be indeed in her future-will let you know, although in a very small way she keeps close tabs in all that flies around home.
will you be posting your list? i will go and look to see if you already have..
how is that beautiful wifey of yours and your beautiful kids? we dearly hope this new year brings you guys even more love and peace.
i love all your outings, not only are they beautiful but they sure keep you guys united and the children grow up happy and secure. thank you for being wonderful parents, the memories you give the kids will surely accompany them for all their lives.
i don't think i knew you worked with children. i am so pleased that they have many champions as yourselves in the world-thank you.

i am trying to figure out what the heck to do with my blog as i don't feel comfortable with posting to an open audience the more personal details of our lives. in the meantime i'm communicating through email the more personal notes...if possible send me you guy's email to chanas@gmail.com

have yourself a wonderful wknd coming up and keep on building your fantastic family.
hugs to the wifey (love calling her that) and to you and the kids.

You give new meaning to the name "Birdbrain". I love the pictures. I miss my bird feeder and bird bath. No room for them where we live now.

If it walks like a bird , has a beak like a bird, and has wings it's a bird.
