Had a great day out today at Normanby Hall, especially nice to see a couple of Jays building a nest and a Green Woodpecker. The Peacock was also out to impress. Will post more photos throughout the week.

I was fairly young when my father told me that the female was called a peahen. I was devastated. I like calling them girl peacocks. Growing up is hard. Seeing your pictures, however, priceless.
At first I thought that was one weird Green Woodpecker but then I guessed it wa sthe Peacock.
He was courting you, Bazza. Did you say yes?
