Robin or Robin?

Nessa recently posted a photo of an American Robin on her site and allthough there is an obvious similarity between it and it's British cousin, I was quite surprised at how different they are.

Bazza, if you like contrasts google image search for Australian magpies. They look more like crows than our domestic breed. Still as nasty to other birds tho'.

The British one is much more cute.

That is an interesting contrast. The little one is cuter. We've got our robins all over town.

Rufus Migratorius. I think that's what it's called. Must go back and check. But no, they do not look anything at like each other. Yours is sparrow sized. Ours is, well, robin sized.
