I have pictures of a Cormorant Condo off the Friday Harbor Pier! I don't know when I might share them, but I do hope you get to see it.
At least you still have a pier the birds can use. Hurricane Ike took a lot of them away. Here in Waco, Tx we are seeing too much pier and not enough birds cause the big lake is getting lower by the day.
Amazing how many old piers there are. We have 'em all over around here.
I took a walk down there a few years ago and got some interesting shots myself, i too wondered about that boat wreck!
