A much better view of a Barn Owl than last week and an orangey hued Greater Spotted Woodpecker (maybe we should call it a Ginger Woodpecker!), I also saw a couple of Common Buzzards taking the yearly total to 76.
you are back and it doesn't say intermently? (pretty sure i misspelled that one), good to hear.
are buzzards not scary to see in person so close? i have only seen a woodpecker once in the wild a few years back. and owls only in the zoo (and cartoons). you are lucky to see such beauty of nature, and i'm talking about all the birds, first hand.

They are so beautiful.
How lucky you are to get so close to both of these!
You weren`t kidding, Bazza. That`s an odd one. Nice capture.
You got some great pictures on this try. One could almost say that Bazza was for the birds.
