Conkers


We went out conkering today, it kind of brings out the kid in you, but when you look at them closely, aren't they gorgeous?

Gawpo, you are correct, to be exact it is from the Horse Chestnut tree, and therefore a Horse Chestnut, I guess.

One time I had Patrick bring me back a chestnut from the park at NYC.. I wanted to taste one...He laughed but did it..He said they tasted better warm... :)

I am SO PISSED!!! I was going to say horse chestnut. That's what we had up on the hill at Mt. Angel Abbey. I love their smoothness and beauty. But when they dry up, they ain't so cute.
